Winter Workshop 2025
Person Centered Stuttering Therapy: Practical Applications across Developmental Stages of Children and Teens
Time & Location
Jan 24, 2025, 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM
Virtual Event on Zoom
About the event
Workshop participants engage in experiential learning focused upon Person Centered Stuttering Therapy, prioritizing the person in the center, blending evidence, clinical expertise, and the desires of all stakeholders. Emphasis is placed upon the client’s unique lived experience, relevant contributing factors, and stage of development. Clients are viewed as equal partners across this holistic approach, often requiring multidisciplinary coordinated care. Participants will complete Case Vision Boards, develop example goals, and engage in activities supporting therapeutic strategies.
